What are you scared of?

Whether you have a fear of drowning, are scared of clowns, or have or just can't bring yourself to look at yellow socks, hypnosis can help you free yourself and live more normally.  Fears and phobias are in fact two different things.  Both can be treated successfully with hypnosis.

A phobia can usually be related to a specific incident in childhood.  For example, being lost in a large department store when 5 years old can be a terrifying experience and that feeling gets linked to large public places, and so in later years a phobia of large public buildings, or even just department stores can be a result of the childhood experience.

In another example, if when a child a babysitter thought it would be fun to shut you in a closet for the night in the dark.  A resulting phobia of either closed in places, or the dark could result.  Just about all phobias, whatever they are, can be treated successfully with hypnosis.

A fear is less defined and has no definite starting point.  Many fears are created through stress.  When stress is experienced in a certain situation it can become linked to the situation and a fear develops.  For example... If the while on a morning commute you receive a cell phone call about a family member being involved in an accident, the traffic may be heavy and stress builds as you try and turn around to head for the hospital.  The call may become linked in the mind to the traffic and the stress of that moment is felt every time that traffic becomes heavy.  Although the two events, the phone call and the commute are not really related our mind likes to make connections to events to anchor us.

Stress can link itself to almost any activity causing an anxious feeling every time that activity is experienced and leading to a fear of that same activity.  The event that caused the stress in the first place is not itself linked, just the feelings, which makes fears a little more challenging to treat, but again, fears can successfully be addressed through hypnosis with some wonderful results.

Whether you are suffering a fear or a phobia, you could experience total freedom from this condition with the use of hypnosis.

What have you got to lose - except the fear...
